Director, Raquel Nejako

An NICCP college planner with national board certification and ongoing graduate coursework with the prestigious UC system, Raquel started New England College Planners to address a need more pressing than ever in our present economic climate of rising costs and evaporating credit:  helping NECP students and their families maximize their college options and dollars. With tools such as her proprietary software and decade of experience with both admissions and financial aid, Raquel guides students in the selection of schools which match their academic goals as well as their families’ finances.  But the goal of maximizing acceptance letters is only part of the large and ever-evolving picture:  the NECP program is geared to lead junior year students (and earlier) through the process of discovering their strengths and goals as learners and cruising through the admissions process with aptitude testing, major and school research, SAT preparation courses, essay coaching, interview preparation, start-to-finish application assistance and scholarship suggestion.

 

The NECP Panel

Raquel’s panel includes educators from a variety of disciplines and with graduate degrees from some of the nations leading universities, including Harvard.  There are Advanced Placement teachers, standardized testing experts and tutors, College Board and SATconsultants and readers, even the regional director of the Massachusetts Teacher Educational Licensing (MTEL) program. Her financial consultants have been assisting Massachusetts families with their financial planning needs for generations.
